I may be a Nintendo fan, but Sony just won. Tons of great games across all of their platforms, a surprisingly low price, and a bullet-point assassination of Microsoft. Today was a good day.

And now to await Smash Bros. newssssssssss.

Also, really good on them for making fun of the giant enemy crabs from like 2005. I appreciate that sort’a self-depreciating humor.

So after all the cosplay suggestions at Fanime, I finally sat down and watched all of Cowboy Bebop.

There’s something about summer air that makes memories so much easier to recall. Back in what couldn’t have been later than early high school, I had watched the movie with some friends. I merely knew about it as “one of the best dubs of all time” (For those of you youngin’s, dubs in the 90s and early 2000s used to be amazingly hit-or-miss, and we didn’t have easy access to the Japanese versions that we do now). I had a bedtime throughout high school, so I was never allowed up late enough to watch it (I remember sneaking to the TV room to watch FLCL when it first aired).

Fast forward a few years, and I’m sitting in my college dorm Freshman year, and at like 12:30 I noticed that it was airing again on Adult Swim, and I caught a few episodes, but never finished the whole thing. Man, just remembering being in that dorm brought back the smell, the atmosphere…

Five years later, I’ve finally seen it all.

Can’t say for sure if I’m gonna try and cosplay as Spike, but it feels like I just crossed something off of a list I’d misplaced a long time ago.

I’m thinkin’a donating my manga to the local library to free up room on my bookshelf....

I’m thinkin’a donating my manga to the local library to free up room on my bookshelf. It’s been years since I even pulled out one to look at, but somewhere in the back of my mind is the warm fuzzy feeling of thumbing through an old volume of Naruto.

Do people in America even buy manga anymore? Not art books, but actual manga.

Edit: Apparently I already gave away those Naruto, Megaman Battle Network, and other manga O_o I don’t even remember doing that. I kind’a don’t want to part with my Eva though, ‘cus those were the first manga I ever bought…Blah, too much junk in this room!
