First Fanime2013 commission, done! They requested Rebecca Chambers from Resident Evil dressed in the fall outfit from KissXSis, and for her to look cute and innocent.
I haven’t cel-shaded a real manga-style line art in a while!

Hey guys, remember when I said I was done with minis? I lied. My Link mini felt lonely, so I made it a companion!
Now I can’t decide if I should print the other Zelda mini or not. @_@
Get this and the matching Link mini at Table #20 at Fanime2013!
The original background sketches for the Link mini. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to match Link’s colors or contrast them against the Goddess Statue’s browns and oranges. David helped me make the final decision, and I think it turned out great. It was also his suggestion to change the hair line art from green to gold, so you can thank him for the stunning effect it made in the finished piece.
An alternate, which I might end up going with. This version has softer colored doors, which feels a lot less harsh and closer to the feel of the game.
My final mini print for Fanime2013! It doesn’t quite match the Zelda mini, but I like it anyway. Tomorrow I’ll post a doodle of what the background almost was.
A little mixed on the background, but otherwise, a Megaman mini for Fanime2013!
People probably won’t even be able to make out the E-tank irises, but oh well, I know they’re there.
Finished! First new mini print for Fanime2013! This one took longer than it needed to, but I hope you guys like it @_@
Should I make a matching Link one? Let me know!
This limited edition Akazukin mini print will be available at my Fanime booth exclusively to people following my tumblr. Supplies will be limited, so be sure to get one before I run out!
Death Billiards! I liked this dude, even though he didn’t really have any expressions. I wonder if the last two Anime Mirai are worth watching…
Apparently Katachan is getting her wisdom teeth out today, so I thought I’d doodle her a “The swelling goes down, I promise!” picture.
I try and keep my gift art to OCs though, so I ended up going with her cartoon avatar, which in my style, looks like an F’ing snowman.
Y’know, I was thinking about that Ask earlier about the style I tend to use, and I figured I should post one of the earlier versions of it.
The style is originally based on studies of the artist for the Katanagatari light novel series (hence why usually call it Katanagatari style, though I should really just call it Take style, since it’s really the artist), but early studies neglected to notice lines on the characters, so everything was just lineless swatches of color with the patterns put on them. When I went back to relearn it for my book, I became more aware of some of the stuff I missed, and it slowly evolved into the stuff you’ve been seeing from me lately. I personally prefer the newer version of the style.
This is Luna’s OC, Phillip, which I drew 3 years ago.
Tried to doodle Joseph from memory. Did cheat a bit on the hair though, and it still isn’t quite right.
It’s honestly just fun to do all the little lines.
